Westcliff Early Learning Academy provides hands-on activities that provide the best learning outcomes as they allow toddlers to safely engage their senses. As a result, toddlers can begin to understand how the world operates and build their knowledge and confidence.

Our teachers develop nurturing relationships with the children and show respect for each child. They provide reasonable expectations and encourage children to test their ideas through structured and open-ended activities. Sensory exploration is offered daily, along with art, music, and movement experiences.

Westcliff Early Learning Academy’s Primary Program provides a curriculum inspired by Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Nature pedagogies; where students can challenge themselves, take initiative, and become increasingly independent. With a natural home-like environment that promotes tranquility, children can work individually or collaborate with their classmates on projects that stimulate cognitive, physical, and social development. Provocations throughout the classroom are specifically designed to be thought-provoking and inspire curiosity.

Westcliff Early Learning Academy believes in creating emotional intelligence and mindfulness—the practice of understanding feelings, and how the mind and body experience them through unstructured time in nature. Our natural playground has many spaces available to children that enhance their development of self-awareness and a sense of belonging as they become more empathetic to the natural world.

Westcliff Early Learning Academy’s Vietnamese or French language programs are designed to harness the language learning abilities of young children by introducing them to dual languages at a critical stage of development. With a focus on Vietnamese or French language acquisition, this program aims to provide young children with a rich linguistic foundation while fostering cognitive growth and cultural appreciation.

Our Parent and Me program offers a rich and supportive learning environment for infants and toddlers. Participants are involved in circle time, group activities including songs, playing instruments, dramatic play, puppets, bubbles, and group discussions.

Classes are designed to assist children and caretakers in developing sign language, sensory exploration, and muscle coordination. Social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth is fostered through a balanced, developmentally-based program.
